Susanne Trimbath, Chief Economist

Dr. Trimbath is lead economist on a project with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Foundation to measure how US infrastructure meets the needs of business. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is interested in the perspectives offered by businesses of all sizes and in all industries on this important issue. Infrastructure includes all the “structures” that support the water, energy, transportation and broadband that every business needs to get the job done. Dr. Trimbath will be participating in a series of Workshops that the Chamber is hosting in four cities around the country. There is no charge for these afternoon events, which include lunch, a plenary meeting and facilitated breakout discussions. Anyone interested in attending can get complete registration information from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Let’s Rebuild America website. The Workshop dates are:

PROVIDE AND PROSPER: Corporate Citizenship and Competitiveness in the 21st Century, Business Civic Leadership Center’s National Conference on Corporate Community Investment, May 12-14, 2010, Houston, TX. Dr. Trimbath is an Advisor on Corporate Community Investment to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Business Civic Leadership Center.

British Airways’ Face of Opportunity Grant 2009 STP Advisory Services received a travel grant from British Airways to further research into the role of financial innovations in the most recent financial crisis. The grant provides roundtrip airfare to Hong Kong, where Dr. Trimbath will present her research on corporate governance at the Chinese University, the University of Science & Technology and Hong Kong University. During the period, she will also present a research paper on the role of financial innovations in economic crises at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Trimbath will participate in networking events in Chicago and London with top international business leaders and government officials.  November 17- December 17 2009.
